My donut baking journey continues. I saw a pic of some scrumptious looking chocolate chip donuts on Keeley McGuire's Instagram. They are top 8 free and looked so yummy! I had to give them a try.
I changed up the original recipe a bit, making do with ingredients I already had (including omitting oats). Here is my ingredient list:
2 medium ripe bananas
6 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
1/2 c milk-free yogurt (I used a small container of So Delicious vanilla yogurt)
1 egg replacement (I used EnerG Egg Replacer)
1/4 c maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c gluten-free flour (I used King Arthur Flour Gluten Free Multi-Purpose Flour)
3/4 tsp guar gum
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 c safe chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life)
